The graduate certificate in Technical Writing and Communication is designed to prepare students for a range of communication, design, and project management careers in industry, education, government, and non-profit organization. Program Information
After completing the five (5) Technical Writing and Communication courses required for the Certificate, students can take another six (6) classes in English to earn and English MA from Louisiana Tech.

How are we different?
A fully online program, the Graduate Certificate’s focus on integrating collaborations with industry, government, and non-profit partners in the US and abroad into its classes and its internship program helps distinguish it from other programs in the field. Additionally, the use of real-world projects as class assignments and the integration of guest lectures form industry into its classes helps distinguish the program from others in the field.

Scholarships
Just like on-campus students, Tech Online students may be eligible for admission, departmental, or private scholarships. Louisiana residents may also be eligible for the Taylor Opportunity Program for Students (TOPS) scholarships awarded by the State of Louisiana. Tuition
The Tech Online program is very unique in that there is flat fee per credit hour. There are no additional fees.
Graduate programs cost $475 per credit hour.
