This program builds upon the successful completion of an Associate degree in nursing (ASN) for practicing RNs seeking completion of a Bachelor of Science (BSN) degree. This program is also designed to allow currently enrolled Louisiana Tech ASN students to complete many of the pre-requisite courses needed prior to graduating. The program provides the richness of perspectives from the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences, as well as the opportunity to learn with other disciplines. This program offers several advantages, such as 100% online course offerings, the ability to work while completing your degree, and flexible clinical experiences in Community, Leadership, and Capstone courses. This program aligns with competencies recommended by the Institute of Medicine (IOM) and the American Association of Colleges of Nursing (AACN) Essentials.
