To achieve operational excellence, an organization must deliver high quality services to its customers in a timely manner. Lean tools focus on increasing process velocity while Six Sigma tools emphasize reducing process variability. Lean Six Sigma (LSS) is also a methodology used to solve complex problems with data analytics that seek to correlate a problem and its many possible causes.
Learning Outcomes
The courses offered in the LSS certificate program will train students with the skills needed to solve complex problems encountered in their jobs. Lean and Six Sigma tools not only are effective tools for solving complex problems faced in manufacturing and service operations, they have become essential tools to expedite the process of launching new products (including software) to the market. The LSS certificate provides needed training for software engineers who work in IT companies for those employed in more traditional manufacturing and chemical processing industries.

Scholarships
Just like on-campus students, Tech Online students may be eligible for admission, departmental, or private scholarships. Louisiana residents may also be eligible for the Taylor Opportunity Program for Students (TOPS) scholarships awarded by the State of Louisiana. Tuition
The Tech Online program is very unique in that there is flat fee per credit hour. There are no additional fees.
Undergraduate programs cost $400 per credit hour.
