The M.A. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology program is designed to prepare students to work in areas relating to applied behavioral science in organizations and business. This program will provide students with a rigorous understanding of employment law, training and development strategies, leadership and decision making, organizational psychology theory, research methods, and statistics.

Whether motivating employees, nurturing strong leadership, cultivating diversity, or managing organizational change, our graduates have the skills necessary to be effective, scientist-practitioners of the behavioral sciences in the workplace.
Student Involvement
The MA involves a hands-on internship experience, where students (with the oversight and support of program faculty) use the skills that they’ve gained during the program to make positive impact on organizations.

How are we different?
Students can gain applied experience in I-O Psychology through their internship experience and optional participation in the AROS consulting organization.

Scholarships
Just like on-campus students, Tech Online students may be eligible for admission, departmental, or private scholarships. Louisiana residents may also be eligible for the Taylor Opportunity Program for Students (TOPS) scholarships awarded by the State of Louisiana. Tuition
The Tech Online program is very unique in that there is flat fee per credit hour. There are no additional fees.
Graduate programs cost $475 per credit hour.
