The Master of Arts – History is a flexible and affordable program that allows students to reach their goal of obtaining a graduate degree in a timely manner. Our program specializes in United States history and provides students with opportunities for personal enrichment along with the analytical skills necessary for a successful career in a variety of professional fields. The master’s degree in history serves as ideal preparation for teaching at the secondary level or for an advanced degree in a host of related academic fields, including public history.

Through a challenging curriculum, the Master of Arts in History prepares students to solve complex problems, conduct research and weigh evidence, craft convincing arguments, and communicate to a wide audience.

Cost and Aid

Scholarships

Just like on-campus students, Tech Online students may be eligible for admission, departmental, or private scholarships. Louisiana residents may also be eligible for the Taylor Opportunity Program for Students (TOPS) scholarships awarded by the State of Louisiana. For more information about scholarships, please visit the Office of Financial Aid website.

Tuition

The Tech Online program is very unique in that there is flat fee per credit hour. There are no additional fees.

Graduate programs cost $475 per credit hour.
