The Graduate Certificate in Health Informatics provides students with an understanding of the importance of information technology used in healthcare, how to manage healthcare projects, data privacy and security standards, and analysis of health information data. Coursework toward this certificate can be applied to the Master of Health Informatics graduate program. The certificate consists of 12 semester credit hours (4 courses) with no GRE requirement.

- Manage healthcare informatics projects and consider implementation strategies
- Analyze healthcare data to solve critical healthcare challenges
- Assess institutional risk through interpreting healthcare security and compliance regulations
- Promote use of health informatics to achieve patient and organizational goals

- Submission of all official admission documents to the Graduate School

Scholarships
Just like on-campus students, Tech Online students may be eligible for admission, departmental, or private scholarships. Louisiana residents may also be eligible for the Taylor Opportunity Program for Students (TOPS) scholarships awarded by the State of Louisiana. Tuition
The Tech Online program is very unique in that there is flat fee per credit hour. There are no additional fees.
Graduate programs cost $475 per credit hour.
